Sola Scriptura (Latin for "by scripture
alone") is a progressive rock album by Neal Morse about the life
of the German theologian Martin Luther.
Sola Scriptura was released in 2007, but I had not heard it
until May, 2010 and it blew me away. Contemporary Christian?..
more like prog meets Beethoven sometime in the future. The
positive message is a nice change considering most other choices
today.
Performers on the album include Morse (vocals, keyboards, and
guitar), Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater) on percussion, Randy
George (Ajalon) on bass guitar, and Paul Gilbert (Racer X and
Mr. Big) on guitar on the tracks "Upon the Door," "Do You Know
My Name?" and "Two Down, One to Go."
